FOIL RACE
The 2025 Eagle-FR is the result of an intense development program and makes significant improvements from the already successful model of previous years.
Bred to win, the 2025 Eagle-FR was tested on Maui with help from current PWA tour Foil Slalom leader Justine Lemeteyer, who completely dominated 2024 PWA Fuerte, winning an incredible 8 eliminations!
In addition to Justine, we also worked with feedback from our talented team of PWA riders Lohan Jules, Bob Van de Burgt and Lars Poggemann as well as former world-champion and master tester, Micah Buzianis.
S2Maui has a history of success in windfoil racing, with Delphine Cousin winning 2 consecutive PWA Foil World Championships and Antoine Questel winning the first ever PWA exhibition foil title.
The 2025 S2Maui Eagle-FR is super-stable, faster in top speed and acceleration, has a more forward draft, lighter handling and expanded wind range. Compared to 2024, the 2025 Eagle-FR has an updated outline with an even narrower head (typically 5cm less than ‘24) which further stabilizes the upper leech and improves top end wind range.
For 2025, we also implemented a new foil-specific version of our “Turbo” leech twist profile, with the twist starting further down, allowing for smoother, more progressive opening in the mid leech while maintaining good tension in the upper leech. This improved mid-leech twist channels the airflow across the sail, increasing acceleration and also top speed.
A leaner leading edge and more stable draft forward 3-D profile has also been implemented for greater speed and efficiency. Super-stiff carbon tube battens lock the draft forward, further increasing wind range.
An increase to 5 mini-battens ensures that the leech is perfectly stable with no vibration during flight even in extreme conditions. S2Maui’s low friction, multi-roller, wide footprint cambers with carefully tuned pressure, ensure smooth and complete rotation. The 2025 S2Maui’ Eagle-FR was designed with 100% no compromise to fly to the top of the podium..
