FOIL RACE

The S2Maui’s Eagle-FR foil race sail is the reigning PWA foil-slalom world champion sail. For 2026, the Eagle-FR experiences its most significant improvement in years as we have enlisted our strongest ever team of top PWA riders to help with development, including Bruno Martini, Lina Erzen, Lohan Jules, Lars Poggemann, Brendan Lorho, Tristan Algret and veteran champion Micah Buzianis!

The 2026 S2Maui Eagle-FR has a higher aspect ratio and significantly shorter boom (typically 10-12cm shorter than ’25 on middle and larger sizes) giving it perfectly balanced stability on foil through a huge wind range. A flatter profile above the boom together with increased middle and lower leech twist dramatically boost top end speed and acceleration while also softening the sail slightly for improved pumping ability.

The 2026 model further progresses our “Turbo” leech twist profile, with smoother, more progressive leech opening that together with an extra-wide aerodynamic mast sleeve, channels the airflow across the sail, boosting acceleration and velocity.

Super-stiff carbon tube battens lock the draft forward further increasing wind range. 5 mini-battens ensures that the leech is perfectly stable with no vibration during flight even in extreme conditions. S2Maui’s low friction, multi-roller, wide footprint cambers with carefully tuned pressure, ensure smooth and complete rotation.
